An Eagle in Flight Against the Sky

An Eagle in Flight Against the Sky

Fishing over Crescent Lake, in Olympic National Park, this pair of eagles decided to brave the cold and rain to earn a meal. Like in The Gorge, they caught my eye from the car; this time my wildlife lens was more accessible.

The last photo isn’t an artistic masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination; it simply shows the couple together, in context along the silhouettes of evergreen trees far in the background.

  1. Sweet collection, man! I actually like that last one. It’s symbolic.
