Exploring the Pacific Northwest Landscape

Downtown and Space Needle from Queen Anne Hill

Posted January 20th, 2008 in [hide]

Downtown and Space Needle from Queen Anne Hill

Old Queen Anne, where potholes reveal cobble-stone streets beneath, sits north of downtown. The Needle itself is a mile and a half from the financial district; here ends Belletown and beings the Queen Anne district, which climbs backwards along one of Seattle’s main hills. This is the only place in the city where the Space Needle appears as part of the skyline.
