Snoqualmie Pass Sprinkled in Snow

The summit itself hosts a small “village” of sorts, a home to the small community that lives there year round and the skiers who come to enjoy the winter. This photo was shot along the way to The Columbia River Gorge; I-90 is a convenient route towards Oregon, departing along US 97 through Yakima. Well before Thanksgiving the mountains take on their winter snow, holding it through the late spring.
