These moths act a lot like the birds they’re named for, except that they’re found exclusively in the southern desert.

  1. I just saw one of these in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was the coolest thing!!!! I watched it from inches away and even held my finger under it’s belly and almost had it sitting there.

    Thanks for having this picture up online. It’s the only one I have found so far that looks clearly exactly like the one I was playing with!! =)
