A Heron in Sepia

Posted November 8th, 2007 in [hide]

A Heron in Sepia

Spotted north of Myrtle Edwards Park, this heron ( or egret? ) was fishing near the loading docks at the ship yard. Sea gulls are incredibly common here, along with the occasional osprey, heron, and rarely even bald eagles.

  1. I’d be interested in the EXIF details for that shot if you still have them Forrest eg: ISO, exposure, focal length etc

  2. I’ll have to look up the ISO value and most of the exposure related info, but this was shot through a 300 mm f/4 lens. My guess is it was in the 400 to 800 sensitivity range; I remember an overcast day.
